The 99 is a faith-driven zine that highlights authentic, lived experiences of transformation, offering a deeper look into how Christianity shapes real lives.
The 99 is a bi-monthly zine that explores the faith journeys of individuals from around the world. The overall goal is to reflect the reality that faith is not always linear, highlighting the fragments, challenges, and milestones of each personal journey and how they ultimately come together. Alongside, drawing the audience in with a mixed media and type combination.
I wanted this deeply personal faith journey zine to reflect both the process and the individual moments within it. This concept was expressed through the cut-out paper pieces I created, each symbolizing a step along the journey while also contributing to the larger picture. Some of these elements draw inspiration from parables in the Bible, adding deeper meaning to the overall narrative.
